Every Sunday prepares us with a special new opportunity to share the hope of Jesus Christ with adults. We are focused on welcoming, growing, and studying God's word. The information below will help acquaint you with our Sunday rhythm.
Share Sunday School Class
The Share Adult Sunday School Class meets in the parlor at 9:00 a.m. Its members use The Present Word published by the Presbyterian Church USA, a biblically based curriculum that follows the Revised Standard Lectionary. (The parlor is the room next to Fellowship Hall)
Ladder of Faith Sunday School Class
The Ladder of Faith Adult Sunday School Class meets in the church library. It is multigenerational, and focuses on contemporary issues of faith through Bible study, discussion and reflection. The class uses “The Wired Word” curriculum and tend to approach issues of faith and life in fresh new ways. Visitors are always welcome. Come to the Church Library on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. (The Library is the room closest to the coffee pots!)
Sunday Lessons at PJ’s
A group of young adults meets each Sunday at PJ’s Coffee shop at 9:15 am for a lesson in The Spot at 106 N. Washington Street.
Bible Study for Men
Meets Thursday mornings at 7 am in the Church Library September through May. This Study is led by Pastor David Stipp-Bethune
Bible Study for Women
Meets Thursday mornings at 10 am in the Parlor September through May. This study is led by Susan Smith, Director of Christian Education
Wednesday Studies
Bible Study meets in the Parlor on Wednesdays at 5:15 pm September through May. This study is led by Pastor David Stipp-Bethune.
Handbell Choir rehearsals meet in Bell Choir room on the second floor at 5:15 pm September through May. Handbells are led by Music Director Ricky Green.
Chancel Choir meets to rehearse in the choir room on the second floor at 6:00 pm year-round. The Chancel Choir is led by Ricky Green, Music Director.
Presbyterian Women
The women of the church meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 11:55 am for lunch, fellowship, and Bible study September through May.
My Sisters and Me Lunch
Women of the church and friends meet for lunch, fellowship, and fun at 11:30 on the third Tuesday of the month at area restaurants. Watch the bulletin for information about which restaurant or call the church office.
