Our chancel choir rehearses each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the choir room on the second floor. Here, we rehearse traditional service music, many anthems based on familiar traditional hymn tunes and texts. One of the highlights of worship through music is our Christmas Music Service held the second Sunday in December each year. Our chancel choir also participates in co-hosting an annual Hymnfest with several other local churches each August.
Our handbell Choir is another way for members to worship in song. We rehearse each Wednesday from 5:15 – 6:00 p.m. in the bell choir room on the second floor and ring during morning worship several times throughout the year.
FPC has a children’s choir that meets during their Wednesday activities and learns various songs, hymns and anthems that are used as a part of morning worship at various times throughout the year.
