The music ministry at First Presbyterian is another expression of the love and hope in Jesus Christ! We enjoy several opportunities to lead worship in song.
Our Chancel Choir rehearses each Wednesday evening. Here, we rehearse traditional service music, many anthems based on familiar traditional hymn tunes and texts. One of the highlights of worship through music is our Christmas Music Service held the second Sunday in December each year. It is truly a special service filled with rich, seasonal music. Many of our Choir members also participate in the El Dorado Chorale and perform throughout the year.
Our Handbell Choir is another way for members to worship in song. We rehearse seasonally on Wednesday evenings and ring during morning worship several times throughout the year.
